Lately I have been obsessed with only consuming things that are full of good ingredients. No junk. I took a friends recommendation and tried this really weird looking drink ...and its awesome!!! If I have a small lunch or need a good in between meal snack this is my pick! I hope to buy a juicer soon so I can make these at home!

Thirsty Thursday Lactation Cookies! Yum Yum!

This is not a recipe for cookies made of breast milk but rather one to promote healthy lactation. Cookies alone with not give you an abundant supply but the ingredients are proven to assist some mothers in their quest. They are very tasty and I hope you enjoy! Serving : 12 dozen

1 C butter

1 C sugar

1 C brown sugar

4 T water

2 T flax seed meal

2 Lg eggs

1 t vanilla

2 C flour

1 t baking soda

1 t salt

3 C Thick cut oats

1 C Chocolate chips

2 T Brewers Yeast

Preparation

Mix 2 T of flax seed and water, set aside for 3-5 minutes

Cream butter and sugar

Add eggs

Stir flax seed into butter mix and add vanilla

Beat until well blended

Add butter mix to dry ingredients

Then stir in oats and chocolate chips

Drop on parchment paper on baking sheet

Bake 8-12 minutes

Life is a Highway..

Holy crap, long time no blog! As usual life has been nuts-o and my blog fell into the ...don't have time, laundry is more pressing pile. But I am back now and have a ton to update on~ Wednesdays are suppose to be book recommendation days but I'm just going to go wild and break the trend!

Hubby and I just returned from a nearly 1,700 mile road trip to buy an new truck! People think we are wacko for buying a vehicle so far away but for us it was not only a smart buy but a vacation too. We never ever leave our kids, we don't even go out to dinner alone so this was a long time coming. We flew from Michigan to Texas and then drove back! We saw so many cool things and really enjoyed our time away. We also could not wait ti get back to our babies! Here are some photos of our trip!
